CU grads braved the snow and sleet this Thursday in honor of tradition. For as long as we can remember, every May, University of Colorado graduates flock to The Sink on Boulder’s University Hill for celebratory drinks before commencement.
To graduating students, signing your name on The Sink’s ceiling signifies the passage from student to alumnus, and graduation day wouldn’t be complete without it.
Per a long-held pre-commencement tradition, hundreds of students, some with their parents, lined the block as we opened our doors at 7:00am, greeting the soon-to-be graduates with breakfast burritos and celebratory drinks.
