It was the Heinritz brothers who added this signature touch to The Sink’s menu when they purchased the restaurant in the 90’s. For decades, the Sink was known to have the best burger in Boulder, so it was time to step up our ‘za game. In this case, “Ugly” is a term of endearment used to describe the big, thick, floppy crust that borders a Sink pizza. We still think you’re beautiful, Ugly Crust Pizza.
Pro Tip: Your server will give you honey when you order an Ugly Crust Pizza. Drizzle that sweet stuff on the Ugly Crust and enjoy!
